ODE TO HOPPER AND ANGEL

AKA 36 Sticks, AKA Dynamite Death Boat

At 11:20 p.m. on Friday, August 5th, 2016, Beverly Fresh paddled a rowboat loaded with 36 sticks of dynamite to the middle of Palmer Lake (Colon, MI). With his arms handcuffed to the sides of the boat and the dynamite set to auto-detonate in 210 seconds, Fresh faced long odds as he labored to free himself or else die violently. After a massive, earth shattering blast, he emerged unshackled from the water’s depths and swam to shore, where he unveiled a sack containing 13 wallets and watches belonging to the stunned onlookers.

For the past 7 years Beverly has been rigorously studying the art of pickpocketing and working with a rural farmer and explosives expert in preparation for this stunt.

THE EXPLOSION IS NOT AN ILLUSION OR A TRICK.
!HE SURVIVED THE BLAST!
